Norfolk, Va. – The Ohio swimming and diving team has earned the distinction of being named a Scholar All-American team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America by earning a team cumulative grade point average of a 3.35 in the last fall semester, the CSCAA announced.
Ohio is one of 688 teams that have earned this distinction representing 430 institutions from all NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA Divisions.
The Bobcats as a team have earned the same recognition every semester since the fall of 2014.
Drexel University's women led all the Division I programs with a 3.77.
To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) over the fall semester.
