Seventeen Bobcats Named Academic All-MAC Track & Field

ATHENS, Ohio - Seventeen members of the Ohio track & field team were honored as part of the Academic All-MAC team announced the Mid-American Conference Wednesday. 

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.

A total of 169 student-athletes were named to the squad this season. Of those honored, six recorded perfect 4.0 grade point averages; Aliyah Gustafson (BGSU, Human Movement & Sport Leisure Studies), Rachel Stute (BGSU, Health Science), Janina Pollatz (EMU, Electronic Media & Film), Sam Tollerud (KSU, exercise science), Maegan Murphy (MIA, Microbiology & Pre-Med), and Alyssa Atkinson (Ohio, Electrical Engineering).
