As we turn the page to December, the Convocation Center is set to play host to three basketball games this week, with two men's basketball games and one women's basketball game on the docket. Meanwhile, the swimming & diving teams are back on the road while the women's indoor track & field team opens to the 2019-20 season at Marshall on Friday (Dec. 6).

The men's basketball team heads south to Conway, S.C. for the 2019 Myrtle Beach Invitational, and the volleyball team is set for the 2019 Mid-American Conference Championship hosted by Bowling Green Nov. 21-24. The women's basketball team returns to Athens after their big win over Ohio State on Saturday (Nov. 23) to take on Incarnate Word at 1 p.m. ET inside the Convocation Center, while the wrestling team and swimming & diving team are also back in action this week.
It's senior day for the Ohio football team on Tuesday (Nov. 12) when the Bobcats host Mid-American Conference West Division foe Western Michigan at 6:30 p.m. ET in the final home game at Peden Stadium in 2019. The men's basketball team is back in action for two road games, while the women's basketball team hosts Marshall on Wednesday (Nov. 13). The volleyball team concludes the regular season at home on Friday (Nov. 15) and Saturday when they host Buffalo and Akron, respectively. Both the men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the 2019 NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship on Friday in Madison, Wis.

In graduation data released by the NCAA today, Ohio University student-athletes have a four-class average (2009-13) of 89 percent in the Graduation Success Rate (GSR), and, in the 2012-13 cohort, have a Federal Graduation Rate (FGR) of 76 percent – the highest marks the University's athletics department has ever achieved. Ohio's GSR surpasses the four-class average of 88 percent set between 2008-12 while the FGR surpasses the 75 percent set in the 2010-11 cohort.

Fans will have seven chances to see the Bobcats at home this coming weekend, including the football team hosting a Mid-American Conference East Division showdown against Kent State, two soccer matches, two fields hockey matches and two volleyball matches.

The Ohio Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced the 2019 class of the Kermit Blosser Ohio Athletics Hall of Fame. The class of 2019 includes the late Larry Hunter (Men’s Basketball; 1971, ’73), who is receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, Ryan Kyes (Baseball; 2001), Tyler Tettleton (Football; 2014) and Julia Winkfield (Volleyball; 2006).

The Largemouth Brass Band is set to perform a free pregame concert beginning at 11:45 a.m. ET in the Bobcat Nation Pavilion outside Peden Stadium on Saturday (Aug. 31). The performance will be part of the pregame celebration leading up to the Ohio football team’s 2019 season opener against Rhode Island. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET.
