ATHENS, Ohio– Rainy conditions forced the Ohio football team inside Walter Fieldhouse for their 14th practice of fall camp on Tuesday (Aug. 21).

Senior linebacker Evan Croutch (Youngstown, Ohio) played in 12 games for the Bobcats during the 2017 season. Croutch registered 70 total tackles (39 solo and 31 assisted), helping him average 5.8 tackles per game. He recorded 2.5 sacks for five yards, and six tackles for loss for a total of 12 yards. He also forced one fumble and had two pass breakups. Last season, he also recorded two sacks in a game against Hampton on Sept. 2, while also forcing a fumble. This season, Croutch will serve as one of Ohio's seven captains, as voted on by his teammates earlier this camp.

Jake Hromada and OhioBobcatTV caught up with Croutch following practice, to discuss how things are going.

The Bobcats will have the day off on Wednesday (Aug. 22), but will be back for practice on Thursday, Aug. 23 at 1:30 p.m.
