DURHAM, N.C. -- Ohio Assistant Athletic Director for Football Operations Chris Rodgers has been selected to the Teamworks Football Leadership Committee.
Rodgers joins eight operations professionals from NCAA Division I Football -- including representatives from USC, Northwestern, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt, NC State, Campbell, San Diego State and NC Central -- who will participate in the invite-only summit July 15-16 in Durham, North Carolina.
This exclusive committee aims to bring together athletic operations leaders to collaborate on strategies, tactics and best practices of keeping an elite team running smoothly. The agenda will focus on a comprehensive approach to working with student-athletes, as participants work to identify best practices necessary to create champions both on the field and in the classroom. In addition, they will see previews of the latest updates to the Teamworks platform and share feedback.
"Teamworks has a strong connection to collegiate football and we are excited to continue our series of Leadership Committees with this cohort of football directors of operations," said Zach Maurides, CEO and Founder of Teamworks. "This group will play a central role in furthering the development and engagement of student-athletes throughout football. We look forward to collaborating with them and learning about their experiences."
This continues a series of Leadership Committees hosted by Teamworks, with both collegiate and professional groups convening in Durham. Earlier this year, the NFL Leadership Committee convened in Durham. This meeting brought together twelve NFL operations personnel to collaborate on the best practices of running an NFL team.
