FIVE POINTS ABOUT OHIO FIELD HOCKEY

  • Ohio Field Hockey is 2-1 for the first time since time since 2012 and looking to record three wins in their first four games for the first time since 2011
  • Freshmen Katelyn Whittle (Glenwood, Md.) and Weslee Littlefield (Oakland, Maine) have started all three games for the Bobcats, with Whittle contributing a goal in the first game of her career against Drexel.
  • Ohio dominated in their game at Davidson, shutting the Wildcats out on only one shot-on-goal in a 3-0 victory.
  • The Bobcats are averaging 12 shots per-game, up from last year's average of 9.6.
  • Junior Emma Spinetto (Louisville, Ky.) scored the third goal of her career to open up the scoring on Saturday against Davidson.

SCOUTING LOCK HAVEN

  • The Eagles come into Friday's match with a 2-2 record, losing their last game to Cornell in double overtime.
  • Lock Haven's leading scorer is freshman Jazmin Palma, tallying two goals for the Eagles in her first four career games on 23 shots.
