CLEVELAND, Ohio – Ohio men's basketball redshirt senior guard Jordan Dartis has been named the Mid-American Conference East Co-Player of the Week for his performance the week of Nov. 25, the league announced today (Dec. 2).
Dartis is the second Bobcat this season to be named the MAC East Player of the Week.
Dartis (Newark, Ohio) led the Bobcats this week in Ohio's 91-81 victory over Detroit Mercy on Saturday, to help improve the Bobcats to 5-3 overall on the season.
In that game, Dartis scored 26 points, 18 of which came within the first four minute of the game. Overall, Dartis finished the day 9-of-15 from the field and 6-of-9 from three-point range, and 2-of-3 from the free throw line. Dartis also grabbed two rebounds and dished out one assist while playing all 40 minutes on the court.
Up next, the Bobcats return to action on Wednesday, Dec. 4 when Ohio hosts Rio Grande. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside the Convocation Center.
