  • Ohio Women’s Swimming and Diving Name Fisher Diving Coach

    The Ohio women’s swimming and diving team has hired Britni Fisher as the new diving coach, head coach Mason Norman announced today. Fisher comes to Ohio after two years as the graduate assistant at Bryant University and after a successful collegiate career at Illinois.

    The Ohio swimming and diving team ended the 2018 Mid-American Conference Championships in seventh place with a total of 253 points scored. The 2017-18 MAC Champion, Akron, earned a total of 827.5 points over throughout the week.

  • Ohio Swim and Dive Concludes Day One of 2018 MAC Championships

    The Bobcat swimming and diving team welcomed fellow Mid-American Conference swim teams to the Ohio University Aquatic Center as they host the 2018 Swimming and Diving MAC Championships (Feb 21-24). Action began tonight (Feb. 21) with the 200 medley relay and the 800 freestyle relay.
  • Ohio Swimming and Diving Set to Host 2018 MAC Championships

    The Ohio swimming and diving team looks to earn its 12th Mid-American Conference title in program history this week as the team plans to host the 2018 MAC Championships. Competition begins on Wednesday, Feb. 21 and runs through Saturday, Feb. 24 inside Ohio University Aquatic Center.
  • Ohio Swimmer Van Lanen Earns MAC Swimmer/Diver of the Week

    Ohio swim and dive’s junior Corrin Van Lanen has been named Mid-American Conference Swimmer/Diver of the week for helping the Bobcats go 1-1 last weekend (Jan. 26-27) against Marshall and Bowling Green by winning seven events and placing second in one.
  • Ohio Swim and Dive Named CSCAA Scholar Athlete All-American Team

    The Ohio swimming and diving team has earned the distinction of being named a Scholar All-American team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America by earning a team cumulative grade point average of a 3.35 in the last fall semester, the CSCAA announced.
  • Bobcat Swim and Dive Sends Seniors Off with a Win

    Ohio swimming and diving finished the senior day with a 169.5 – 130.5 win over Bowling Green Saturday (Jan. 27). The Bobcats recorded wins in 11 of the 16 events.
  • Ohio Drops Nail-Biter to Marshall

    The Bobcats concluded the first of two meets for this weekend when the Bobcats lost a nail-biter to Marshall 151.50 – 147.50. Despite the loss, Ohio totaled wins in 9 of the 16 events.
  • Ohio Swimming and Diving Competes at Home in Back-to-Back Duals for Senior Weekend

    The Ohio swimming and diving team will compete in back-to-back meets this weekend against Marshall and Bowling Green. The meet against Marshall is scheduled for Friday (Jan. 26) at 5 p.m. and the meet against Bowling Green will be held Saturday beginning at 1:45 p.m.
  • Bobcat Swimming and Diving Falls to Akron

    The Ohio swimming and diving team wrapped up a weekend dual against reigning Mid-American Conference Champions, Akron, on Saturday (Jan. 20) where the Bobcats fell to the Zips 193-106. The Bobcats recorded four first-place finishes throughout the meet.

  • Ohio Swimming and Diving Travels to Duquesne/Xavier Double Dual and Buffalo Diving Invite

    Ohio swimming and diving kick off the 2018 portion of the season on Saturday (Jan. 13) when they head to compete against Duquesne. The Bobcats will also face the Musketeers of Xavier with the action beginning at 2 p.m. at Towers Pool. In addition to this weekend’s double dual, Ohio’s divers will travel to Mid-American Conference foe, Buffalo, to compete in the Buffalo Diving Invite (Jan. 13-15).
  • Ohio Swim and Dive Concludes 2017 Winter Nationals

    The Bobcats concluded the four-day 2017 Winter National Championships on Saturday (Dec. 2). All four who traveled competed including Samantha Glass in the 200 back and the 200 fly, Emily Zimcosky and Corrin Van Lanen both in the 100 free and Emilia Lahtinen in the 200 breaststroke.
  • Bobcat Swimming Finishes Third Day of the 2017 USA Winter National Championships

    All four members of Ohio’s swimming and diving team finished the third day of the 2017 USA Winter National Championship in Ohio State’s McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on Friday. Samantha Glass competed in the 400 IM, Corrin Van Lanen in the 100 fly, Emily Zimcosky in the 200 free, and Emilia Lahtinen in the 100 breaststroke.
  • Glass and Van Lanen Wrap up Day Two of Winter National Championship

    Two of Ohio’s swimming and diving team wrapped up the second day of the 2017 USA Winter National Championship in Ohio State’s McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on Thursday. Samantha Glass competed in the 200 medley and Corrin Van Lanen in the 50 freestyle.

    Four of the Ohio women’s swimming team head to the 2017 Winter National Championships to compete from Wednesday through Saturday (Nov. 29-Dec. 2) hosted by Ohio State. Samantha Glass, Emilia Lahtinen, Corrin Van Lanen, and Emily Zimcosky look to kick off competition at 6 p.m. in the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. Heats are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. throughout the rest of the weekend.

    The Ohio swim and dive team has recorded their second win of the 2017-18 season after competing against Mid-American Conference opponent, Ball State, on Saturday (Oct.28). The Bobcats secured the 185-114 win over the Cardinals by gathering 11 wins in the dual.
